These Rules are incorporated into and form part of the Terms of Service.
2. Nature of Contests
Contests on the Platform are skill-based fantasy sports contests. The following rules apply.
2.1 Skill-Based Structure
All contests offered on the Platform are skill-based fantasy sports contests. Winning outcomes are determined exclusively by: real-world athlete statistical performance, predefined scoring criteria, and objective data from recognized third-party statistical providers. No contest outcome is determined by: random number generators, simulated outcomes, chance-based mechanics, or house-controlled results.
- Real-world athlete statistical performance
- Predefined scoring criteria
- Objective data from recognized third-party statistical providers
3. Contest Types
SportStake may offer multiple contest formats including, but not limited to: fixed prize contests, guaranteed prize pool contests, head-to-head contests, multiplier-style contests, tiered payout contests, and promotional contests. Each contest page will disclose: entry fee, maximum entries permitted, prize structure, scoring methodology, contest start time (“Lock Time”), eligible athletes, settlement timing.
- Entry fee
- Maximum entries permitted
- Prize structure
- Scoring methodology
- Contest start time (“Lock Time”)
- Eligible athletes
- Settlement timing
4.1 Entry Submission

- The required entry fee has been deducted
- The lineup is submitted before Lock Time
- The Platform confirms successful entry
4.2 Entry Limits

5. Lineup and Selection Rules
Each contest specifies: eligible athletes, available statistical categories, minimum and maximum leg requirements, and any position or roster constraints. Users are solely responsible for: monitoring athlete injury status, monitoring lineup changes, and verifying event schedules. Rakota Inc does not guarantee athlete participation.
- Eligible athletes
- Available statistical categories
- Minimum and maximum leg requirements
- Any position or roster constraints
6. Minimum Leg Requirement
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a specific contest: all lineups must contain at least two (2) valid legs to qualify for payout. A lineup reduced below two valid legs will be voided and refunded.
7.1 Lock Time
Lock Time is the moment at which: entries are frozen, lineups cannot be modified, and entry cancellation is no longer permitted.
- Entries are frozen
- Lineups cannot be modified
- Entry cancellation is no longer permitted
7.2 Irrevocability
Once locked: entries are final. Entry fees are non-refundable except where required by law or Company cancellation.
8.1 Definition of a Push
A “Push” occurs when an athlete’s official statistical result exactly matches the contest’s listed performance threshold and is defined under the scoring rules as neither a win nor a loss. A Push is treated as a No-Leg outcome.
8.2 Treatment of a Push (No-Leg)
When a Push occurs: the affected selection is removed from the lineup; the selection does not count as a win; the selection does not count as a loss; the lineup is recalculated as though that leg did not exist.
- The affected selection is removed from the lineup
- The selection does not count as a win
- The selection does not count as a loss
- The lineup is recalculated as though that leg did not exist
8.3 Two-Leg Lineups
If a two-leg lineup has one leg that results in a Push: the lineup is reduced to one valid leg. Because a minimum of two valid legs is required, the entire lineup is voided, the entry fee is refunded to the user’s account balance, and no payout is issued.
8.4 Three or More Leg Lineups
If a lineup containing three or more legs has one or more Pushes: the lineup will be recalculated using the remaining valid legs. Payout will be determined based on the adjusted valid leg count according to the contest’s disclosed payout structure. If multiple Pushes reduce the lineup below two valid legs: the lineup is voided and the entry fee is refunded.
8.5 Statistical Corrections Affecting Push Status
If an official data provider later revises statistics such that a Push becomes a Win or Loss, or a Win or Loss becomes a Push, Rakota Inc may: recalculate results, adjust payouts, void or reinstate entries, within a reasonable correction window.
- Recalculate results
- Adjust payouts
- Void or reinstate entries
9.1 Official Data Sources
All scoring is based exclusively on official statistics from recognized third-party data providers. Rakota Inc does not independently generate athlete statistics.
